Hello! My name is Gary and I'm the Network Creator of and your Host here at The Society!! You will notice that the links will not work; We respect privacy here at The Society, therefore the site though open to the Public, is only completely visible to approved members. To date (09-23-11) the site has had 2.4 million page views and visitors from over 160 countries. We ARE gettting the word out! There is plenty to do here with the Blogs, Groups, our awesome Gallery (8000 + pictures!), Videos, Chat program, Forum, Event Listings, Shop, Video Games, and The BUZZ!!
We are a group of people who feel it's time Men were allowed to be Men again. It's a rebellion against what I call The Feminization of the American Male. The U.S. Military, a backlash to the attitudes of the 1960's, and pressure to be more 'sensitive' and in touch with our feminine sides all have played a part in this process. We're tired of it and are proud to wear our facial hair and damn what folks think. Beards are as natural as rain and we're tired of spending billions of $'s supporting the razor companies.
I support any beard or facial hair groups I encounter; we need to stick together. I have an extenisve LINKS page on here connecting the members to many groups, websites, videos, beard related products, and news about The Beard. I also tell folks that this is THE friendliest site on the Web and it's true. This is NOT an 'adult/mature/sex site. We are here for ALL people, whether the Beardo or Beardette! Fans and Admirers are welcome too! We just ask that you maintain proper etiquette and be a 'gentleman' here.
